Though not originally from Never Never Land, it sure feels like that's where I live some days. Renovations always seem to take much longer than anticipated, cost more than was budgeted, and always involve more work than you originally bargained for.

Even a seemingly simple thing like installing a new range hood can be fraught with challenges. Don't you love that word - challenges - it just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it? Some days, it doesn't roll at all. On days like that, I tend to feel very "challenged".

I also love reading and writing about style and home fashions. There's always something new just around the corner, and it's great fun to be the first to suss out the latest trend.

I'm looking forward to meeting some new friends here on Hub Pages.
